SELF ACCEPTANCE
Do you have something about yourself that you can't accept? According to Shepard (1979),self acceptance is an individual's satisfaction or happiness is with oneself,and is thought to be necessary for good mental health. We all have those things we wish we could change about ourselves but the truth is there are somethings that might never change. How then do we embrace our weakness and not see ourselves as inferior to other people. WHY YOU SHOULD ACCEPT YOURSELF (1) You're wonderfully made by God and you are amazing just the way you are. (2) Everyone on earth have their flaws, weakness and strengths that is what makes each of us unique. (3) If you don't accept yourself others won't. The relationship we have with ourselves determines our relationship with other people. HOW TO PRACTICE SELF ACCEPTANCE (1) Love yourself. (2) Celebrate your strength. (3) Forgive yourself.
